Dielectric Insulating Overboots
 
The Dielectric overboot offers insulating footwear in a form that is extremely quick to don over standard leather safety footwear due to its ingenious rear entry design. The wearer’s boot slides easily into the overboot in a matter of seconds (rather than having to struggle into a narrow shaft and around a tight corner as associated with the donning of traditional overboots). The rubber strap, attached to dual points at the rear of the overboot, is secured to a moulded button at the front, providing a snug and secure fit for a range of tailored boot sizes with maximum comfort and ankle support even when negotiating uneven surfaces.
 
This design is ideal for personnel who have to continually enter and exit hazardous areas where it is not practical to change existing safety footwear.
 
All Dielectric overboots are fitted with a unique oil resistant vulcanised blue rubber sole that gives excellent slip, wear and cut resistance (see page 22). Every Dielectric overboot is tested to EN50321 before leaving the factory.

Sizes
 
By design, each size of Respirex Overboot can accommodate a range of sizes of leather safety boots. It is therefore easier to select the correct size of overboot reducing the risks of trips due to poor fitting.
 
 Medium: 6 to 8 (UK), 39 to 42 (EU), 7 to 9 (US)
 Large: 9 to 11 (UK), 43 to 45 (EU), 10 to 12 (US)
 Extra-Large 12 to 14 (UK), 46 to 48 (EU), 13 to 15 (US)
